Devign Inspiration provides the vision; the Devign Methodology provides the path.
At Moonward, we’ve spent years refining a way of working that bridges the gap between design and development - a process we call Devign.
The Devign methodology wasn’t born overnight. It’s the result of countless projects, hundreds of client collaborations, and an ongoing obsession with how teams can build better digital products together. Over time, we realised our process had become something unique - a blend of methodologies, sharpened by experience and anchored in real-world delivery.
So, we decided to formalise it.
The Devign Methodology - now a trademark - represents our philosophy that design and developing are not two separate disciplines, but rather two halves of the same creative process. We’ve seen again and again that when these worlds truly collaborate from day one, products don’t just look good - they work beautifully.
Our methodology takes inspiration from a few familiar frameworks - agile, lean UX, and design thinking - but it’s the way we’ve adapted and combined them that makes Devign distinct. It’s pragmatic, not theoretical. It’s designed to scale across projects big and small, and it’s been tested in the trenches by our team and our clients.
As our team and client base have grown, so has the need to capture, share, and protect what makes our process special. The Devign Inspiration Book was born out of that need.
It’s a formal document that brings together:
It’s not just for us - it’s for everyone who touches a Moonward project. From clients who want to understand how we think, to new team members learning the ropes, to collaborators who share our pursuit of building meaningful digital experiences.
Formalising Devign through the Inspiration Book gives us a shared foundation. It ensures that whether we’re building an app, platform, or brand experience, every decision ties back to the same philosophy - one that’s been refined by doing, not theorising.
It’s a way to protect the integrity of our method while inspiring creativity within it.
