Rebuildr needed a secure platform for assessments, exercise programming, and communication — all while remaining flexible and HIPAA-compliant. Clinicians had to be able to upload custom exercises, track progress, and provide seamless feedback, and patients needed a frictionless, personalised rehab experience. The platform also had to be scalable and reliable for future feature expansion.

Our Approach

Moonward built the backend and frontend from scratch, integrating two rich libraries — one for assessments and one for exercises — curated by rehab experts. Secure in-app messaging, voice memos, and video transfer enabled seamless communication between patients and clinicians. We also provided the team with training and ongoing collaboration to roll out new features iteratively while ensuring compliance, performance, and ease-of-use.
