Vaiva

Build your adventure. Take the stress out of travel planning. Whether you're backpacking through South America for 3 months, or chasing the sun in Italy on a quick getaway, Vaiva will be your companion for every step of the journey and keep everything you need

Vaiva came to Moonward with a bold idea: a travel companion that takes the stress out of planning, whether it’s a long-haul adventure or a weekend getaway. After two years of development with an offshore team, the product wasn’t where founder Matthew Pacella needed it to be. Moonward took it over and fully redesigned and rebuilt it. Our in-house team started with UX and product design, turning Matthew’s ideas into a clear, intuitive experience, then rebuilt the frontend and backend from the ground up to create a reliable platform across iOS, Android and the web.

The rebuild turned a stalled offshore project into a polished, market-ready product that finally matched the founder’s vision. Vaiva launched with a seamless experience for travellers to build and manage their trips in one place, backed by a solid technical foundation the business could grow on. In Matthew’s words, Moonward’s design team are “industry leaders” who can “translate ideas and discussions into brilliant UI/UX designs.”
